Capita Software Services gains e-GIF Accreditation for 2006/7

Capita Software Services has gained re-accreditation to the e-Government Interoperability Framework (e-GIF). Adherence to the e-Government Interoperability Framework (e-GIF) is advised for all new and legacy systems used to deliver services electronically. Complying with e-GIF is recommended widely across the UK public sector because it helps build more sustainable IT systems, making for efficiency and effectiveness gains as systems are upgraded or replaced.

Commenting on the e-GIF accreditation, Ian Gates, Director of Capita Software Services, said: "This status signifies that our processes have been subject to a thorough assessment process providing our customers with assurance that we can accommodate the rapid pace of technological change and provide the appropriate solutions.
