Colchester recognises the need for continued investment in ICT to take advantage of ongoing developments in technology. Following a review of our existing repairs contractor interfaces, Capita demonstrated the Academy Contractor and Mobile Solution to our repairs partners at Colchester. We were impressed with the functionality of the Contractor System and have chosen the system for the following reasons:-

• Full integration with the Academy Housing Repairs Module so that when repairs are created in academy they appear in Contractor in real time.
• The elimination of the need for interfaces with 3rd party contractor IT systems
• Jobs and resources can be tracked and costed at any stage of the job progression cycle
• Integrated mobile module for operatives and inspectors allows mobile users to work without needing to first visit the office to pick up jobs.
