Review of the Nomad Classroom Conference

Project Nomad LogoOn the 10th April Capita exhibited and ran a session at the Project Nomad Classroom event 2008. The event took place at Mary Ward House in London and was attended by over 120 Local Authority representatives.

The day was broken up into five work streams focusing on different elements and challenges of implementing mobile and flexible working solutions. Interspersed with time to talk to the 15 suppliers the agenda was certainly packed full.

Capita’s Adrian Clark headed up two of the sessions in the “What shall we do with the children?” work stream, looking at the specific challenges facing Children and Young people’s services when adopting Mobile and Flexible working solutions. Both sessions prompted lively discussion and the opportunity for delegates and suppliers to share their experiences, ask advice and get assistance in moving forward.

By the time the event came to an end all that attended went away with a list of actions and a clearer view on mobile and flexible working and how to move things forward in their organisation.
